We've setup a video stream on Ustream for the BMD conference on Saturday, so if you can't be there with us you can watch and ask questions. The videos will also be available after the conference.

We can't guarantee we will have all the speakers, but we will do our best to have as much as we can and ask as many questions as we can from the chat.

p.s. thanks for the live stream...also, is there any talk of maybe bringing the conference out to the west coast?

The video recordings for a lot of the conference will be available at the same web address later this week. The rest of the conference materials will be available a bit later on the MDA website...we'll let you know when that's up.

There is some discussion in having the conference next year in LA to give folks on the west coast a break from the long distance travel. I'm a fan of moving it around to give folks a better chance of visiting in person.

I'm pleased that the streaming worked well enough. Next year we will do it a little more professionally, so it will be a good way to watch it live, even if you can't be there in person. We hope to use the chat feature interactively next year, so remote viewers can ask questions as things are happening.

I noticed that a few folks from the west coast were absent this year, so moving the conference is important. Overall the conference was  a big success, with 40-45 bmd patients and a total of over 100 attendees, including 10 viewing online. Our attendance goal for next year is 100 bmd patients, so please consider attending in 2011 if possible.

The conference videos are finally posted online. It took a while to get the speakers approval and to find a website that could host clips that are almost an hour long.

You can find the videos at http://beckermd.blip.tv

You have lots of options to download the videos to your phone or even embed them in your own blogs and web pages. There are 6 videos, so just look at the archives to see the full list.
