Hello I have heart problems related to BMD. I was taking Spirnolactone for more than 6 months as a dieuretic. I developed a lump in my chest....which is a fairly rare side effect. It is not painful or dangerous, but irritating and should gradually disappear over the next 18 months. My doctors switched me to Inspra, which is fairly new, but does not have this side effect. Kevin

i take spironolactone for my blood pressure -suprised me to see it in BMD web site
