Hey Everyone,

The pediatrician ran a CPK test on my baby girl (18 months) at my request since her brother has Becker.  Her CPK was 147.  I found a web site that said normal CPK levels in children are no higher than 120.  I don't know what to make of this, so any feedback is appreciated.  Thanks, Leighann

I know that it's not that uncommon for carriers to show certain symptoms (i.e. elevated CPK, and occasionally some cardiac symptoms and slight weakness). Since her CPK level was only a bit higher than the high end of normal... I would guess that there is a chance that she is a carrier. I don't know if there is anything to do in particular, especially at this age though. Hope everything turns out well!
