Hey My doctor has suggested that I try Pilates. He mentions that it is very helpful to increase flexibility and also strengthens the core muscles of the body. He said not to expect to keep with the other members of the class (due to my muscle weakness), but several one on one sessions would be helpful to start and then to work at my own pace with the instructor. Anyone try Pilates? What was your experience like?

I loved doing it at PT and bought the machine myself. I like being able to bend my knees and exercise my legs without having to stand/sit and worry about falling. I had lots of improvement in my legs and arms. Also you can do some ab stuff on there too which helped a lot.
