I've found that swimming is very beneficial for me. It allows me to exercise muscles that I normally couldn't by walking or other forms of exercise. It allows me to get my heart rate up and work my heart. I find this hard to do by walking, since my legs get more tired faster. By swimming, I can include my arms (not yet affected much) and not have my muscles get as tired.
Talk to your doctor about swimming. |
