Hey Folks This is a very interesting study that one of my doctors is doing. It is a study of muscle tissue in vitro and how a number of drugs and supplements affect muscle strength. It is the first study that I'm aware of that aims to screen drugs for detrimental, neutral, and positive effects. There is some interesting data that shows certain compounds that have some possible. They have tested BMD and mice tissue and they soon plan to do BMD tissues. This is information that many of you have been waiting to see...a treatment based study, rather than a cure based study. This is information that may lead to practical treatments more quickly. The drugs studied have already been FDA approved for other conditions or are supplements, so there will be a shorter cycle for human study and potential approval/proof.
